主要从事腹盆腔肿瘤的临床诊疗工作，专注于腹膜肿瘤及腹膜后肿瘤复发转移的综合诊疗新技术研究。创建了以规范化肿瘤细胞减灭术加腹腔热灌注化疗为核心的腹膜癌综合诊疗新模式。主持制订了国内多个专家共识，并参与制订腹膜癌相关的国际指南。建立了多套研究癌转移的动物模型和利用纳米荧光探针研究癌侵袭转移的分子影像学技术体系。
