Engaged in clinical practice and basic research on gastrointestinal tumors for many years, with expertise in surgical treatment and multidisciplinary management of digestive tract malignancies, particularly in the development and translational application of novel clinical technologies. Conducted in-depth research on sphincter-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer, digital navigation-assisted surgery, and individualized treatment following neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy. Among the first in China to initiate clinical trials of non-operative management (NOM) for low rectal cancer, achieving favorable outcomes. Also experienced in basic research, with research areas including tumor therapeutics, molecular oncology and epigenetics, biomarker development, and resistance to chemo- and radiotherapy. Research findings have been published in internationally renowned journals such as Cell Reports and Cancer Letters. Has led multiple projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial/municipal science programs. Recipient of funding from the Youth Talent Program of the Beijing Hospital Authority and the Shenzhen High-Level Overseas Talents Program, and holds multiple invention patents.
