Tsinghua University Yuquan Hospital (Tsinghua University Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine), previously known as the Hospital of the Ministry of Electronics and Industry and Beijing Yuquan Hospital, was established in October 1977. In April 2003, Tsinghua University took over andrenamed it as Tsinghua University Yuquan Hospital, also known as the Second Affiliated Hospital of the university. In December 2020, with approval from the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the hospital shifted from being a general hospital to a facility integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicines.

The hospital is situated at No. 5 Shijingshan Road, Shijingshan District, Beijing, covering a total area of 32,300m². Its medical building area occupies 48,500m². It is categorized as a tertiary hospital and has a total of 500 beds. The hospital has more than 800 employees on its payroll. Among them, 200 are physicians. The hospital is a designated facility for Beijing's medical insurance and work-related injury settlements. It is also a teaching hospital that delivers undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the School of Clinical Medicine, as well as general subjects facing all students in the university. The hospital also runs an English journal known as Brain Science Advances.

The hospital has 39 clinical and medical technology departments. The most competitive ones include the Departments of Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Neurology, Stomatology, Hand and Foot Surgery, Geriatrics, Endocrinology and Immunology, Urology, Acupuncture and Moxibustion,Tui-na, and Physical Exam Center.

In line with therequirements to establish medical facilities that incorporate Chinese and Western medical practices, the hospital fully plays out the advantages of the theories and treatment of TCM to augment its role in sustaining and elevating public health, clinical medicine education, and research.
