Sleep-disordered breathing; pharyngeal, laryngeal, tracheal, and esophageal diseases. Areas of expertise include: Etiological assessment and comprehensive treatment of adenoid and tonsillar hypertrophy in children, Integrated diagnosis and treatment of adult sleep-disordered breathing (e.g., snoring), Minimally invasive treatment of pharyngolaryngeal tumors, Surgical treatment of phonatory disorders, Diagnosis and management of sleep and circadian rhythm disorders, Comprehensive treatment of complex sleep-related diseases, Diagnosis and management of common ENT conditions. Principal investigator of one project under the “Young Talent Program” of the Beijing Hospital Authority and two projects funded by provincial/ministerial-level key laboratories. Participated as sub-center lead in a general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC); core participant in one NSFC key project; second applicant of another NSFC general project; and participant in the Beijing Hospital Authority’s “Sailing Plan”. Also involved in four additional NSFC projects, one major project of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and one National Key Technology R&D Program under China’s 12th Five-Year Plan.

Selected as one of the first trainees in the “Young Talent Training Program” of the Beijing Hospital Authority in 2016. Delivered presentations at five international conferences and over ten national academic meetings. Frequently involved in organizing national conferences and workshops, serving as lecturer and on-site interpreter. First author of five SCI papers and five Chinese core journal articles; published one review article; contributed to four monographs; and holds two patents.
