Clinically, I emphasize the integration of clinical observation with literature review, accumulating experience in diagnosing and treating rare forms of diabetes (e.g., monogenic diabetes) and securing two related research grants. My subspecialty focuses on bone metabolism disorders, where I have participated in specialized clinics, managed complex cases, and presented case studies at academic conferences. Over three consecutive years, I organized continuing education programs on osteoporosis at municipal and county levels, enhancing the academic influence of the subspecialty. I serve as a youth committee member, committee member, or standing committee member in several academic societies.

In research, my Ph.D. project was part of a cross-sectional study on the health economics of diabetes conducted across 12 centers in China, initiated by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). I was invited to present at the 2011 IDF Congress. From June 2012 to January 2014, I studied diabetes epidemiology in the U.S., publishing nine papers with a cumulative impact factor (IF) of 90. My research won the 2014 Scott Grundy Award for Excellence in Epidemiology Research at the American Epidemiology Annual Meeting. I have led research projects funded by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (Returned Scholars Program), the Beijing Municipal Hospital Research Development Plan, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation.
