YING jianyou

Associate Professor

Neurosurgery

Beijing Huaxin Hospital

Personal Profile

Trained under Professor Zhang Yazhuo, a world-renowned neuroendoscopy expert and Chairman of the World Chinese Neurosurgical Association, I specialize in minimally invasive neuroendoscopic surgery for neurosurgical diseases and have extensive clinical experience in treating severe traumatic brain injuries and cerebral hemorrhage. Currently, I serve as the Deputy Director (acting) of the Neurosurgery Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Tsinghua University. Additionally, I hold several academic and professional roles, including:

· Committee Member of the Chinese Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics

· Deputy Director of the Clinical Research and Translational Practice Base for Young and Middle-aged Physicians, Chinese Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics

· Deputy Director of the Public Health Committee, Beijing Perioperative Medicine Research Society

· Expert Committee Member of the Medical-Wushu Integration Committee, Beijing Wushu Association

· Member of the Expert Pool for the Intellectual Property Operation Service System Construction, Chaoyang District, Beijing

Professional Expertise

I specialize in applying minimally invasive neuroendoscopic techniques to treat a wide range of conditions, including pituitary adenomas, craniopharyngiomas, tuberculum sellae meningiomas, germ cell tumors, optic chiasm gliomas, Rathke's cysts, pituitary abscesses, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, and cerebral hemorrhage, with excellent clinical outcomes. Notably, for functional pituitary adenomas treated via neuroendoscopic transnasal surgery, patients achieve both radiological and biochemical remission, enabling rapid recovery and discharge—a technique at the forefront of domestic standards. In cases of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, traumatic intracerebral hematoma, and subacute subdural hematoma, neuroendoscopic surgery minimizes trauma, reduces complications, and achieves high success rates, with some patients resuming normal life and work.

Academic Achievements

I have contributed to national research projects, including the National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863 Program), the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Public Welfare Health Research Special Project. My academic output includes:

· 9 SCI-indexed publications

· 4 software copyrights

· 4 invention patents

· 3 utility model patents

· Co-authorship of 1 Chinese expert consensus guideline

· Participation in compiling 3 medical textbooks

· Recipient of 1 municipal-level first prize for scientific and technological achievements

Management Work

I have expanded the scope of neurosurgical diagnosis and treatment by establishing specialized clinics for pituitary tumors and hydrocephalus, refining subspecialty development in neurosurgery, and actively promoting new technologies—particularly advancing minimally invasive neuroendoscopic techniques.
