Completed postdoctoral training at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Stanford University School of Medicine, and the Endocrine Research Unit at Mayo Clinic.

Received clinical training in bone marrow transplantation at the 307 Hospital of the PLA and worked for many years in the Department of Internal Medicine and Hematology at Peking University Third Hospital.
