After graduation in 1990, underwent 5 years of rigorous residency training in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Hebei Cancer Hospital (world’s largest esophageal cancer diagnosis/treatment center), establishing solid surgical foundations.Initiated thoracoscopic surgery in 1995 under Prof. Cui Zhonghou (pioneer of thoracoscopy in China) at PLA General Hospital.From 2004, mentored by renowned thoracic surgeon Prof. Li Jian to innovate radical resection for locally advanced thoracic tumors: Performed complex procedures (bronchial/pulmonary artery sleeve resection, carinal resection/reconstruction, partial atriectomy, superior vena cava resection/reconstruction) via muscle/nerve-sparing mini-thoracotomy. Integrated enhanced recovery protocols, achieving minimal trauma, rapid recovery, and significantly prolonged survival.Performed landmark surgeries：Non-ex vivo autologous lung transplantation (2006)Three-incision esophagectomy + carinal resection/reconstruction for esophageal cancer invading carina (2017)Reaching internationally leading standards.

Diagnosis/treatment of pulmonary nodules; precision segmentectomy guided by 3D imaging/fluorescent thoracoscopy; extended resection for locally advanced thoracic tumors; targeted therapy/immunotherapy for lung cancer.
