Academician Qionghai DAI is the chief expert of the Center for Medical Translational Imaging, while Zuoxiang HE and Xuewu WANG serve as the medical and engineering directors. Building on the current work of the Department of Engineering Physics at Tsinghua University, the Center is dedicated to the investigation of cutting-edge technologies in radiation imaging and nuclear medicine, with a specific focus on their applications in precision medicine. Work in the initial stage concentrates on intelligent urinary stone analysis based on spectral CT, automatic segmentation, measurement, and defect detection of knee joints based on three-dimensional MR images, as well as the self-collimating SPECT technique and its applications.
